SARA'S ASTROLOGICAL REPORT FOR JULY
The Sun is in Cancer the first part of July. Cancer people are sensitive, emotional and love their homes. They have a tendency to want to feed everybody. They are kind, sympathetic, and can be easily hurt. They can be very moody however. They are one of the signs that pick up others emotions. They can have food issues and the pantry can be overstocked. Cancer rules the stomach. The Sun goes into Leo on Saturday the 22nd at 9.16 am. The Full Moon is on Saturday the 8th at 10.07 pm in Capricorn. This is a time of duty, work, planning for the future and anything practical. People can be a bit pessimistic at this time. It can be serious time. Capricorn rules the teeth, bones and the knees. The New Moon is on Sunday the 23rd at 3.46am in Leo. This is a time of people wanting to be noticed and appreciated. It can be a good time for romance. people might have problems seeing their own limitations, yet is a good time for ambition and thinking about advancement. Be kind and generous to people around. Leo rules the heart and the spine. Jupiter finally went direct. We are hoping some of the delays and things not moving forward will ease up now! Saturn went retrograde on the April 5th. It will be in Sagittarius until August 25th. It does touch back into Scorpio for a bit and then goes back to Sagittarius. It then leaves Scorpio alone for another 29 years. This is a time of lessons, depending on where Saturn is in our charts. The lessons can be major or minor. It can be counted as Karma. If we didn't learn it in the last life, or earlier in this life, here it is again. Also as Saturn, the restrictor, is on the expansive sign of Sagittarius, some things may come to a halt. It means that whatever we are doing needs to be looked at, to be sure it is what we want or that it will work. Are you willing to slog through hurdles for a payoff when it ends?
Neptune
goes retrograde on June 14th until November 11th. Neptune is the
strangest of the planets and the retrogrades. I call Neptune the planet
of the weird. Where it is and while direct, there is vagueness,
deception, either by others or deceiving self. When it goes retrograde,
truths come out. People are more inclined to listen to truth. While
retrograde people tend to be more intuitive and to focus more on
bringing dreams into reality. It is retrograde 150 days out of each year.
Pluto went retrograde on April 20th. Pluto
is an interesting planet if you can call it that. Some say yes, some
say no. I call it the dirty little ice ball with delusions of grandeur. Pluto gets more power than it should for such a dinky little whatever it is! Where
it is in the chart, and how it is aspected, indicates where a person
has control issues. When it is retrograde this intensifies. And since
it is retrograde for about half the year, every year, it is something
that should be looked at in the chart. You will often read it is about
transformation and how it will help achieve a higher consciousness. This
is true, but first we must let go of the control issue. We cannot
control another, we can only guide and be a good example. Situations can
seem to be controlled, but we still get blindsided.
The Full Moon is a time of completion. Look for the energy to get rid of bad habit and to let go of the past and complete projects in the next two weeks. The New Moon is a time of new beginnings and the next two weeks are good for bringing in the energy for moving forward with life. This is a time to start new projects. The New Moon and the Full Moon's can give indications of things happening in you chart. Check where it is in your chart for guidance. With Eclipses it can have lasting effects. SARA'S THOUGHTS

We
redesigned the letter. I handed it over to my sister to edit and she
decided just mostly to move things around. She fixed some of my
sentences and cleaned it up a bit. A writer I am not. :)
Our
bees are still here and seem to be thriving. It seemed so touch and go
that first week with all the snow. We made several mistakes and it still
seems to be ok. It has been over 45 days and there are tons of them.
Good turnover. Their little lifespans are 45 days. All new bees except
for the queen. This week we put on the frames to make some honey! We
have a lot of bumblebees in the comfrey. They love the purple flowers on
it. Best of all: We have bat poo under the bat house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you see a swarm DO NOT freak out. They will not be aggressive and just call me or the local bee stores and someone will come and collect them. There is a waiting list for bee keepers to collect them and relocate them into hives. They are very expensive to get out of someones attic! When a hive or colony gets overcrowded, the old queen takes off with a lot of worker bees to start a new colony.
We no longer have a snake, it moved on. Not sure why, we have mice for them to eat!
The
birds and the reduced number of squirrels are coming out of hiding. The
hawk has had the baby and hasn't been around so much, but still see him
once in a while. But we have baby wrens in the little birdhouse we put
up. They chirp a lot and the little parents keep going in and out.
We have started out summer treks to the mountains. It is so beautiful up there. We are collecting rocks for decorating the garden. We squeezed in another bush, got big pots and planted even more stuff. The only things we lost from last year was a butterfly bush and the milkweed. So we planted snow in summer in the bush corner as it seems to grow and never stop in the front, and it would be nice to cover that corner. Where the milkweed was we planted some hardy Firewitch. The bees love it out front, so we planted some there. Eventually we will run out of room for more stuff. One corner were we could get nothing to grow we put rocks and pot of flowers and a gnome. It is a gnome garden now. I put a picture.I think it will work. Been learning more and more on the new phone I got with a camera and have been playing with it.
This
August there will be a total eclipse across the Northern Hemisphere.
Here in Denver we will see a 90% eclipse. With much preplanning going
back two years, I have a room at a motel in Glenrock, Wyoming where it
will be dark for a total for 2 minutes and 26 seconds. Going to take a mini
vacation, leave my sister to take care of things and go!
Take

them. Life is
short and we need to appreciate it even when there are challenges and
not let them overwhelm us. Don't let fear keep you from having a good

When things go wrong just see them as glitches and move on.
When you have a moment, make a list of all your blessings. All the good things in your life. It is so easy to dwell on the negative. Smile. Smiling can actually change your mood for the positive.
