SARA'S ASTROLOGICAL REPORT FOR JULY

The Sun is in Cancer the first part of July. Cancer people have an extreme depth of emotion. They love family and and can be good parents. Though they may have trouble letting go and letting their children grow up!

They can be moody as they are ruled by the moon. They can pick up emotions from others around them. They can be intuitive, loyal and can go very nostalgic. They love to feed people.

They can be afraid of not having enough and can go into hoarding, especially food. cancer rules the stomach and digestive and people with cancer in their charts anywhere have the highest amount of food intolerance issues. If you have stomach issues, find out what you are intolerant to and you probably won't need all those anti acids!

The Sun goes into Leo on Wednesday, July 22, at 2.37 am Denver time.

The Full Moon is on Saturday July 4th at 10.44 pm in Capricorn. This is also an eclipse. This can be a time of growth on the physical plane. Practical matters, working hard to get ahead. Planning for the future is all indicated at this time.

It can also be a time to own your own emotions. And to take responsibility for them. If you have been blaming others, take a look and see if maybe you need to change your course.

The New Moon is on Monday July 20, at 11.32 am in Cancer. Emotional fluctuations may be happening at this point. Emotionally is a time to let go of the past and move into the future. Home and family are usually highlighted at this time, but with everything going on as it is, it is especially on focus now.

July Full Moon:
Traditionally, the Full Moon for July is called the Full Buck Moon because a buck’s antlers are in full growth mode at this time. This full Moon was also known as the Thunder Moon because thunderstorms are so frequent during this month.

The Full Moon Names we use in The Old Farmer’s Almanac come from Native American tribes, Colonial Americans, or other traditional North American names passed down through generations. (Note that each full Moon name was applied to the entire lunar month in which it occurred.) - Farmer's Almanac

The Full Moon is a time of completion. Look for the energy to get rid of bad habit and to let go of the past and complete projects in the next two weeks.

The New Moon is a time of new beginnings and the next two weeks are good for bringing in the energy for moving forward with life. This is a time to start new projects.

The New Moon and the Full Moon's can give indications of things happening in you chart. Check where it is in your chart for guidance. With Eclipses it can have lasting effects.

Retrogrades:

Mercury retrograde in Cancer: June 18 to July 12th There could be some miscommunications with the members of the family or tensions between relatives under Mercury retrograde in Cancer. Though it can be a good time to reconnect with a member of the family, with whom we haven’t been in touch for a long time.

This is a good time to connect with our subconscious and deal with unresolved issues.

It is not a good time to sign contracts or do things that require relying on verbal promises. I did find out last time it is NOT a good time to get glasses with a new doctor who it turned out didn't understand a word you said. Long sad story and three remakes on the glasses.

Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn: May 14th to Sept 12th. This is a time to examine your morality, outdated belief systems, and the very structures of your life. Jupiter will go direct on September 13th, 2020. You will then be given the opportunity to move forward with more clarity as you seek the life of abundance that aligns with your authentic expression of self. It is hard to move forward with things while Jupiter is in Capricorn. This is a time to consolidate what you have and plan what to do when it does go direct. You can have a better foundation.

Saturn retrograde in Aquarius: ending in Capricorn May 11th to September 12th. Aquarius rules the unusual, freedom and moving forward. Capricorn will slow down a lot of this. It goes along with the Jupiter of assessing the life and where to go and what to do next.

Neptune retrograde in Pisces: June 22 to Nov 28th in Pisces. this time can disintegrate the structures that have been defining our identity. As old patterns and boundaries dissolve, it can feel as if we’re opening to messages from far outside our known reality while simultaneously facing disillusionment with the way things have been. The familiar can be changed into new patterns. It can lead to depression, but the change could be good in the long run. We can make our lives better than before.

SARA'S THOUGHTS

The garden is in full bloom and working on the front now. Whoever told us that rocks were no maintenance was an idiot. The flowers are just beautiful. California poppies have been popping up and I am so entranced, we bought some to put other places.
We miss going to the mountains, but with what is going on we are just exploring the area parks.

Stay safe, be compassionate and kind to all living beings. Hate can spread so fast, but love and kindness can too.

I am only doing phone readings for now. I take credit and debit cards. I am still $1 a minute. I saw an ad for readings at $50 minimum for a half hour and $100 for an hour. I will never do that.

Luka is now 11 months old. Classes have resumed for training, which we desperately need! He is an opinionated stubborn little guy!

I do have a Facebook page called Astrology and Tarot By Sara. I have been posting my newsletter there each month. I think if "liked" you get anything I post, but not sure. I think I might start posting a bit and see how it goes. It doesn't seem to have a friend button.

Take a moment to appreciate life. Are you spending all your time working? Have you forgotten how to have fun? Now is the time to make those memories for later. Tell your loved ones you love them. Life is short and we need to appreciate it even when there are challenges and not let them overwhelm us. Don't let fear keep you from having a good time with life. Work your job and don't forget to play and be happy. When things go wrong just see them as glitches and move on.

When you have a moment, make a list of all your blessings. All the good things in your life. It is so easy to dwell on the negative. Smile. Smiling can actually change your mood for the positive.

SARA'S ASTROLOGICAL REPORT FOR FEBRUARY
The Sun is in Aquarius the first part of February. Aquarius is an original, progressive, unconventional sign. They can have preconceived notions that are hard to budge. Usually quite intelligent they need to realize others don't see the world they way they do. A lot of times they have a wicked sense of humor, but need to be careful not to slide into hurtful sarcasm. They can be loving but detached and want to save the world and groups rather than the individual.

The Sun goes into Pisces Monday the 18th at 4.04 pm Denver time.
The Full Moon is on Tuesday the 19th at 8.54 am in Virgo. This would be a good time to read Marie Kondo's book and start cleaning and sorting the house. ( That book was a catalyst for me to get rid of half the stuff in the house several years ago!) A good time for anything that requires detail work.

The New Moon is on Monday the 4th at 2.04 pm in Aquarius. This can being about wanting freedom and breaking away from the old, the conventional or anything that feel confining. Can be anything from wanting to change jobs to deciding doing the dishes right now is just too much. Plan something different and outside your box if possible.

February Full Moon: Full Snow Moon. Usually the heaviest snows fall in February. Hunting becomes very difficult, and hence to some Native American tribes this was the Hunger Moon.

SARA'S THOUGHTS 
Gmail did it again with the new email, so I got snarky and set up another email. Then each has less than the number when they decided I was spam and blocked me. So to get hold of me the email with the newsletter or as always, the sarabeth823@gmail.com. I simply do not have enough emails to justify a website etc.
And I want to thank my wonderful people for all the feedback I have been getting. You all are great!
The days will start to be noticeably longer. In many cultures the first of February is a feast of returning light. In ours it has been downgraded to a groundhog and shadows.

I started an odd project of taking pictures of dogs. I have discovered people are thrilled when I ask if I can take one.  Am going to go see about taking pictures of art around town. Morrison Road from Sheridan to Knox has some wonderful street art. And I am tired of the hit and miss and I keep getting blurry pictures and am going to take two camera classes. They were included with my camera I got summer of 2017 and never did them. called and they said, no problem!

And then I started a 365 day of taking a picture every day and posting on Facebook. That is a real challenge starting in January as my favorite pictures are flowers and animals. Yet it has already got me out of a box and thinking about other things that can be photographed.

 SARA'S ASTROLOGICAL REPORT FOR AUGUST

The Sun is in Leo the first part of August. Leo is ruled by the sun. And like the sun Leo people need to shine and be the center of attention. They are usually leaders enthusiastic, generous, kind, and creative. They thrive on praise. The more they are praised, the better they become. No sign does well with criticism, but Leo will wilt and die inside more than any other sign. Negative they are pompous, arrogant, patronizing, dogmatic. Give a Leo love and they will give love back. They usually make good parents. Leo ruled the heart and the spine. 
 
The Sun goes into Virgo on Tuesday the 22nd at 4.21 pm Denver time.

The Full Moon is on Monday the 7th at 12.11 pm in Aquarius. This will be a Lunar eclipse. This would be a great time to think about starting some sort of volunteering. Aquarius is concerned with social welfare and improving the world. People may feel a need to break free of constraints and want to do something unconventional. 

 The New Moon is on Monday the 21st at 12.30 pm in Leo. This will be a 90% Solar Eclipse here in Denver. This would be a good one to check where it is in your chart. It could have effects that can last a long time. Leo is a social time. People will need to be recognized and appreciated. ( I am going to a city with a giant party/festival happening!) Plan a party and don't forget your eclipse glasses even for a 90%
MERCURY RETROGRADE Of course I am halfway through sending my newsletter when I realize I have forgotten or not noticed Mercury is going retrograde in August. I really think I have a block from noticing!!!!! So it will be retrograde during the eclipse! It will be in Virgo going back to Leo. So Virgo's will be the most effected. Leo's the second most. Virgo is a detailed oriented sign. So while paying attention to details, don't overlook the broader picture. If something isn't working no matter how hard you try, step back, take a nap, sleep on it etc. This is not a good time to sign contracts, but if you must, get all in writing and check very carefully. Electronics can go wonky.
Saturn went  retrograde on the April 5th. It will be in Sagittarius until August 25th. It does touch back into Scorpio for a bit and then goes back to Sagittarius. It then leaves Scorpio alone for another 29 years. This is a time of lessons, depending on where Saturn is in our charts. The lessons can be major or minor. It can be counted as Karma. If we didn't learn it in the last life, or earlier in this life, here it is again. Also as Saturn, the restrictor, is on the expansive sign of Sagittarius, some things may come to a halt. It means that whatever we are doing needs to be looked at, to be sure it is what we want or that it will work. Are you willing to slog through hurdles for a payoff when it ends?

Neptune goes retrograde on June 14th until November 11th. Neptune is the strangest of the planets and the retrogrades. I call Neptune the planet of the weird. Where it is and while direct, there is vagueness, deception, either by others or deceiving self. When it goes retrograde, truths come out. People are more inclined to listen to truth. While retrograde people tend to be more intuitive and to focus more on bringing dreams into reality. It is retrograde 150 days out of each year.

Uranus will go retrograde on August 3rd in Aries.  It stays there until January. It needs to be looked at as to what house it is in in your natal chart to see how it will affect you. 

 

generally it is when when and where we might want changes and to break free of the past.

Pluto went retrograde on  April 20th. Pluto is an interesting planet if you can call it that. Some say yes, some say no. I call it the dirty little ice ball with delusions of grandeur. Pluto gets more power than it should for such a dinky little whatever it is! Where it is in the chart, and how it is aspected, indicates where a person has control issues. When it is retrograde this intensifies. And since it is retrograde for about half the year, every year, it is something that should be looked at in the chart. You will often read it is about transformation and how it will help achieve a higher consciousness. This is true, but first we must let go of the control issue. We cannot control another, we can only guide and be a good example. Situations can seem to be controlled, but we still get blindsided.

SARA'S THOUGHTS

We have put the honey supers on the hive at the beginning of July We are doing the jar method. They make the honey directly into jars!

I have talked to people who are terrified of bees. Don't be.They are non aggressive unless threatened. If you find yourself near a bee or one in your car etc, do not freak. Just hold still or don't make sudden movements and whatever you do, don't wave your arms around :)  They die if they sting so are not invested in stinging. Wasps are another issue. I have been sitting by the beehive surrounded by bees and watching them on the flowers. It is fascinating. they even clean their little faces with their front arms.

The  baby wrens have flown. The hawk now lives down the block. He is driving me nuts. He is getting birds all over the neighborhood. He is beautiful and I suppose he needs to eat. On a good note ( I suppose) the explosion of bunny rabbits had reduced. 

 

 This August there will be a total eclipse across the Northern Hemisphere. Here in Denver we will see a 90% eclipse. With much preplanning going back two years, I have a room at a motel in Glenrock, Wyoming where it will be dark for a total for 2 minutes and 26 seconds. Going to take a mini vacation, leave my sister to take care of things and go! It looks like the party of the century. There is a festival going on with it. If it rains or is cloudy, I will be in the middle of the world's largest international pity party!
